Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming Lectures at the Nepal Police Staff College

On April 30, 2026, at the invitation of the Nepal Police Staff College, H.E. Ambassador Zhang Maoming delivered a lecture to the group of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) trainees, who are set to assume leadership positions.

Ambassador Zhang shared various topics with the participants, focusing on China’s foreign policy, Global Security Initiative, the holistic approach to national security, Nepal-China relations, Nepal-China law enforcement cooperation, etc. He stated that China attaches great importance to the development of Nepal-China relations and stands ready to deepen exchanges and cooperation across various fields, including law enforcement and security, thereby continuously advancing the Nepal-China Strategic Partnership of Cooperation Featuring Ever-lasting Friendship for Development and Prosperity.

Faculty and trainees from the Nepal Police Staff College expressed their gratitude to Ambassador Zhang by indicating that the lecture was intensive, interactive and impressive, deepening their understanding of China’s domestic and foreign policies. The Nepali side affirmed its commitment to the one-China principle, the continuation of traditional Nepal-China friendship, and the advancement of law enforcement and security cooperation, pledging to contribute to the development of bilateral relations.
