ABBYY University Celebrates More Than 18,000 Graduates as Demand for Purpose-built AI for Automation Increases

AUSTIN, Texas, June 11, 2025 /BUSINESS WIRE/ --

ABBYY today announced that more than 18,000 students have graduated or completed courses at ABBYY University, a free, virtual learning program offering technical training for ABBYY’s portfolio of Document AI and Process AI solutions.

The number of graduates spiked by 20% within the past year as more organizations turned to ABBYY’s industry-leading intelligent document processing (IDP) solutions FlexiCapture and Vantage, and process intelligence solution, Timeline, to accelerate and improve the outcomes of their intelligent automation initiatives. In 2024, students from 119 countries took courses and certifications, led by the USA, India, Australia, the United Kingdom, and France.

“I found this course extremely valuable. It went beyond the basics, introducing me to a range of advanced concepts that I hadn’t encountered before, which is already proving very helpful for my work,” commented Bobby Lamaute, an ABBYY University graduate and Senior Application Developer at Aflac. “One of the aspects I appreciated most was the hands-on approach of the training, as being able to apply the concepts in a practical setting helped reinforce my understanding and see where I can apply them to real world cases for my company. I’ve not only deepened my technical knowledge but also improved my ability to engage effectively with stakeholders. It’s made me feel more credible and capable when discussing technical aspects of projects, which is already making a positive impact on my professional relationships."

ABBYY University offers 36 courses available to technical professionals and developers at ABBYY’s customer and partner organizations. Its goal is to foster in-depth knowledge of ABBYY solutions and help maximize value from their investment.
